Originally dubbed the “Venice of America,” Venice Beach is known for its well, beach, and canals throughout the Los Angeles neighborhood that reflect the bustling water tunnels of the Italian namesake. Founded by a tobacco businessman in the early 1900s, Venice Beach is now the second largest tourist attraction in Southern California, just after a place known for mouse ears.
