Once the smallest library in the Southern Hemisphere, Glenorchy Library is situated in a little town in New Zealand. Though this cute building is no longer the full library, it serves as a reminder of how far the library has come! The town was named after Glen Orchy, a valley in Argyll, Scotland, and the local scenery has been used in a variety of films, including the “Lord of the Rings” series. Books and beautiful scenery?
