Tucked inside the Rajasthan Polo Club, founded in 1901 as the Rajputana Polo Club, Polo Palladio offers a stylish break from the thundering hooves. Designed by Marie-Anne Oudejans, the space is a love letter to Indian maximalism, pairing Italian dishes with pink arches, striped umbrellas, and candlelit courtyards. The club’s most celebrated player, Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II, died in London in 1970 while playing polo, a fitting end for a man who won the World Cup in 1933 and spent his life chasing the ball. Showcased memorabilia includes sepia photographs of Queen Elizabeth II, letters, trophies, and vintage polo sticks, proof that this club has hosted everyone from royalty to revolutionaries. After an afternoon watching riders chase the ball across the field, it’s the perfect place to trade polo commentary for pasta and a spritz.
