As many of you know, we’ve been on a mission to send some smiles via snail mail, and you’ve really brightened up our mailboxes with your fantastic postcards from all over the globe. Whether from Melbourne, Australia or Chicago, Illinois, you’ve all added delightful moments that make each of your cards special.

We decided we couldn’t keep all these gems to ourselves, so we’re creating a virtual mailbox here for you to take a look through all postcards we’ve received. Keep your eyes open if you’ve sent one!

It instantly inspired me to make my first ever trip to Acadia National Park to spot seals near Cranberry Island, hear roaring waves at Thunder Hole, and devour scrumptious seafood with some climbing buddies. It was an amazing action-packed adventure with incredible views that I hopefully was able to capture with an AWA perspective. There’s so many more adventures to share with beauty, grace, & comedy!

Note: Hi AWA! I thought you might enjoy a postcard from the Art Institute of Chicago! Until I read the caption, I. was unaware of the immense popularity of this painting which has been displayed at the museum since 1894. Associate director Paul Jones describes it “It isn’t the portrait of a bird. It’s the portrait of a song presented in stillness, color, and silence.” I think I may have to visit the museum again to soak in this masterpiece!
