Adventurer since April 2026

Paul Hiller born in 1984 in Germany, is a professional photographer and artist. He first graduated as a photo lab manager and then got his diploma at the Academy of Fine Arts Munich (class of Prof. Klaus vom Bruch, new media). Paul Hiller has been photographing amusement parks and so-called happy sad places around the globe for more than 15 years. His pictures show pastel-colored architecture, colorful rides or obscure installations and road-side attractions. Soft colors and a calm image structure are part of his visual identity. Hiller's photographs can be classified as "straight photography". He celebrates the medium of photography and works exclusively with analog cameras on film. The technical skills involved in capturing the photochemical development process and the versatile art of digitalization are also part of his work. Paul Hiller's studio is in Munich, but his photography is created all over the world.
