What better way to learn about evolution than visiting the the Galápagos Islands?! Located more than 1,000 km from continental Ecuador, the 127 islands are home to exquisite wildlife and represent much more than Charles Darwin’s previous scientific playground. 97% of the islands were designated as National Park back in 1959, and it happens to be the only place in the Northern Hemisphere where you can see penguins in their natural habitat!
