Look out below! This little pilot house was saved from a potential drowning. It wasn’t constructed on land, but rather wasn’t taken off the Steamboat “Tell City” that sank in 1917. Currently situated in the Ohio River Museum, the Tell City Pilot house greets visitors and lays adjacent to the Muskingum River. The museum currently aims to preserve the history of inland rivers and is currently going through a renovations so it can save more drowning houses!
