Mishaum Point is a private peninsula elbowing into the Atlantic on Buzzards Bay, Cape Cod. Once a saltworks site, Mishaum is more rural than neighboring areas of the Cape. It entices regular travelers who appreciate its tranquility a mere hour’s drive from Boston. For summer visitors, this South Dartmouth destination hosts an active swimming pier, a boating dock, and this recreation area. All are encompassed within its signature Mishaum Point Yacht Club which, due to its seclusion, sandbars, and well-protected harbor, has yet to welcome any yachts.
