In the quaint suburban setting of Headington, it is difficult to miss a giant shark diving head first into your neighbor’s roof. But this toothy fish came with a story… about a world at war, a society under censorship, and nuclear disarmament.
Commissioned by a local radio host and a unique form of protest art, this sculpture was created to be symbolic of bombs crashing into buildings. Now the Headington Shark can be observed up close as an AirBnB residence in the town of Headington.
