The village of Wasso is tucked within the Arusha region of northern Tanzania. Here, local farmers cultivate crops of maize, millet, and beans around a town containing this minty-green Lutheran church.
Along with this colorful sight, Wasso offers a gateway to Lake Manyara National Park and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, places where adventurers can spot lions, elephants, giraffes, and flamingos. To either be of service or avoid becoming prey, donkeys are better served staying in the village, however, and attending mass on occasion.
