Grand Hotel

Built in 1901 and designed by Johan Axel Stenberg, who was well known for his luxurious hotels at the time, this historic building operated as a hotel for almost half a century before ceasing operation in the early 1940s.

For the next 70 years, the location was used for a wide array of other operations before being purchased and restored to its roots. It is once again open for business and welcomes modern travelers.

Located next to the Central Train Station in Gavle, the hotel has 124 rooms and can accommodate up to 130 guests. Although its considerable renovations, the hotel still maintains its classic style and historic elements.
