1. Eligibility: The “Adventure of a Lifetime” Giveaway (the “Sweepstakes”) is open to individuals who are at least 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of Hurtigruten Group and Accidentally Wes Anderson [AWA] (“Sponsors”) and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. In order to have a valid entry, all entries must follow @accidentallywesanderson on Instagram
2. Giveaway Period: The Sweepstakes begins on July 1st at 11:00 AM EST and ends on October 22nd at 11:59 PM PST. AWA reserves the right to extend the giveaway by up to one (1) week.
3. How to Enter: visit https://accidentallywesanderson.com/giveaway-antarctica/ during sweepstake period. In order for an entry to be eligible the terms and conditions need to be read, entry form needs to be fully completed and the question answered correctly. Proof of submission will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Sponsor. Sponsor not responsible for the failure of Sweepstake entry form to reach Sponsor in a timely fashion. Sponsor’s computer is the official clock for this sweepstake. Limit one (1) entry per person at online submission. By entering the Sweepstakes, entrants fully and unconditionally agree to be subscribed to  Accidentally Wes Anderson’s twice monthly Bulletin, as well as emails from Hurtigruten Group.
4. Additional Entries: Fifty (50) additional entries will be given to those who have preordered “Accidentally Wes Anderson: Adventures” book and upload their receipt on the Sweepstake entry form. One hundred (1oo) additional entries will be given to those who have preordered “Accidentally Wes Anderson: Adventures” the Deluxe Edition and upload their receipt on the Sweepstake entry form. Sponsors may ask entrants for additional proof of purchase to confirm additional entries. If additional proof is not provided, entrant will be disqualified, and an alternate winner will be selected.
5. Prizes:

• • 12-day all-inclusive expedition cruise to Antarctica during the summer months, starting and ending in Buenos Aires
  • Cabin for two during the cruise
  • 2 Round-Trip flights to and from Buenos Aires
  • Accommodation in Buenos Aires (if needed)
  • 2 Extra special AWA Adventure Packs filled with some special travel goodies

6. Prize Conditions:

• Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or monetary value.
• Cruise will take place during the 2024/2025 Antarctica season
• The plane tickets cannot be exchanged or transferred to another individual or be used to travel to another location.
• Any unused portion of the prize will be forfeited, and no compensation will be provided.

7. Winner Notification: Winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Drawing will be conducted by Sponsor, on the week of October 28, 2024. By entering the Sweepstake, entrants fully and unconditionally agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which will be final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstake. Winners will be notified by email within one (1) week following the conclusion of the Sweepstakes.  If a potential winner does not respond within forty-eight (48) hours of the initial notification, an alternate winner will be selected.
8. Claiming the Prize: To claim a prize, winners must follow the instructions provided in the winner notification email. Winners may be required to provide additional information and complete necessary documents as part of the prize confirmation process.
9. Sponsorship: The Sweepstakes is sponsored by Hurtigruten Group and Accidentally Wes Anderson [AWA]
10. General Conditions: By participating in the Sweepstakes, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules & Regulations and the decisions of the Sweepstakes organizers, which are final and binding. The Giveaway is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
11. Privacy: By entering the Sweepstakes, entrants fully and unconditionally agree to be subscribed to Accidentally Wes Anderson’s twice monthly Bulletin, as well as emails from Hurtigruten Group. Personal information collected during the Giveaway will be used solely for the purpose of administering the Sweepstakes and awarding the prizes. Participants’ information will NOT be shared with third parties unless required by law.
12. Modification and Termination: AWA reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Sweepstakes in the event of any technical or administrative issues beyond its control, which may compromise the fairness or integrity of the Giveaway.
13. Disputes: Any disputes arising out of or related to the Sweepstakes shall be governed by the laws of the state of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
14. Release and Indemnification: By participating in the Sweepstakes, participants agree to release and hold harmless Hurtigruten Group, Accidentally Wes Anderson, and their respective affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or injuries of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from their participation in the Giveaway or acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize.
15. Limitation of Liability: Sponsors are not responsible for any lost, late, misdirected, stolen, illegible, incomplete, or undeliverable email notifications, or for any technical or human errors, including but not limited to, incorrect or inaccurate entry information, whether caused by participants or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the sweepstakes.
16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction: Any disputes arising out of or related to the sweepstakes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Delaware, USA, and participants consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of such courts.
17. Severability: If any provision of these Official Rules & Regulations is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severed from the rest of the Official Rules & Regulations, and the remainder of the Official Rules & Regulations shall remain in full force and effect.
18. Changes to the Official Rules: AWA reserves the right to amend, modify, or revise these Official Rules & Regulations at any time. Participants will be bound by such amended, modified, or revised Official Rules & Regulations.
19. Winners’ Publicity: By accepting the grand prize, winners grant permission to Sponsors to use their names, social posts, photographs, for publicity and promotional purposes without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. All items reposted to any Sponsors socials will have credit back to the winners.
20. Disclaimer of Endorsement: This Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Meta, Instagram, or any other social media platform. Participants acknowledge that they are providing information to the Sponsors and not to any social media platform.
21. Conditions: Reporting and payment of all federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. Participation in the Sweepstake and acceptance of prize constitutes winner’s permission for Sponsor to use his/her name, address (city and state), likeness, photograph, picture, portrait, voice, biographical information and/or any statements made by winner regarding the Sweepstake or Sponsor for advertising and promotional purposes without notice or additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. By participating, entrants, winner and travel companion agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor and their respective advertising and promotion agencies and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers and directors, from any and all liability, for loss, harm, damage, injury, cost or expense whatsoever including without limitation, property damage, personal injury and/or death which may occur in connection with, preparation for, travel to, or participation in Sweepstake, or possession, acceptance and/or use or misuse of prize or participation in any Sweepstake-related activity and for any claims based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy and merchandise delivery. Sponsor is not responsible if prize cannot be awarded due to travel cancellations, delays or interruptions due to acts of God, acts of war, natural disasters, weather, strikes or acts of terrorism. Entrants who do not comply with these Official Rules, or attempt to interfere with this Sweepstake in any way shall be disqualified.
22. Disclaimers (i) Sponsor not responsible for entries that are lost, late, misdirected, incorrect, garbled, or incompletely received, for any reason, including by reason of hardware, software, browser, or network failure, malfunction, congestion, or incompatibility at Sponsor’s servers or elsewhere. In the event of a dispute, entries will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. “Authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet Access Provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institute) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. (ii) Sponsor, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process or the operation of the web site or otherwise attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes. Use of bots or other automated process to enter is prohibited and may result in disqualification at the sole discretion of Sponsor. (iii) Sponsor further reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the Sweepstakes if it is not capable of completion as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, force majeure or technical failures of any sort. (iv) Sponsor Entities are not responsible for errors in the administration or fulfillment of this Sweepstakes, including without limitation mechanical, human, printing, distribution or production errors, and may modify or cancel or terminate this Sweepstakes based upon such error at its sole discretion without liability. In no event will Sponsor be responsible for awarding more than the number of prizes specified in these rules. (v) In the event this Sweepstakes is canceled or terminated, pursuant to subparagraph (iii) or (iv), Sponsor, in its sole discretion, may elect to hold a random drawing from among all eligible entries received up to the date of discontinuance for any or all of the prizes offered herein. (vi) SPONSOR ENTITIES MAKE NO WARRANTIES, REPRESENTATIONS OR GUARANTEES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, IN FACT OR IN LAW, AS REGARDS THIS SWEEPSTAKES OR THE MERCHANTABILITY, QUALITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE REGARDING ANY PRIZE OR ANY COMPONENT OF ANY PRIZE. (vii) CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE THE WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND/OR CIVIL LAWS, AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK REMEDIES AND DAMAGES (INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ATTORNEYS’ FEES) FROM ANY SUCH ENTRANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW, INCLUDING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION. (viii) The value(s) of the prize(s) set forth above represent Sponsor’s good faith determination of the approximate retail value(s) thereof; the actual fair market value(s) as ultimately determined by Sponsor are final and binding and cannot be challenged or appealed. In the event the stated approximate retail value(s) of a prize is more than the actual fair market value of that prize, the difference will not be awarded in cash or otherwise. No substitution or compensation will be given for any portion of the prize that is not used.
